Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to all!!. And for our Jewish Friends Happy Hall nick however you spell it.. so funny. Well I hope that everyone got to spend time with those who matter to them. I always say family is what you make of it ''today I spent time with friends who are like my own family. Well I am so blessed to have friends who are like family in my life. I went over to BB's for a yummy untradtional  Christmas dinner.. we had pasta chicken Alfredo and polish sausage pasta. I liked the chicken Alfredo the best. We had the Tally's there also Fredia as well as BB and papa Ron.

Well of course we did our twelve days of Christmas song.. so funny it has truly become a tradition in there home. We also exchanged Christmas gifts which was fun. I ended up getting from my neighbor Cindy yesterday a beautiful pink robe.. pink it my favorite color. That  dear sweet lady just knows me so well and today I got a new PJ set which was so beautiful it was like a brown soft fur set and a gas card ya.  I also got some hot chocolate yum..the kind with marsh mellows. Also I got a cute little mug with some socks this came from Fredia.

I got BB some socks they are nice and furry and I got her some good smelling perfume. Also I got papa Ron a candy cane with candy inside it and some perfume..smell good stuff. I am so thankful for being able to spend time with them today. For desert we had some cookies that BB made with her cute little grandson.. they was the perfect size.

Also we had hot chocolate with our cookies I put marshmallows in mines how much fun. Jenny did the same thing .. so funny we sort of was fighting over the whip cream.  I was so stuffed when I left there and I went to CR tonight and we had an awesome Praise Night!!. Praising God!!.. afterwards we had fellowship time and also hot chocolate.

I also had a wonderful thanksgiving with BB and the Tally's Jenny made her Apple Pie.. so good and BB and Ron fixed all the trimmings. Well I started a new job which is a wonderful gift.. The Boys and Girls Club. A major blessings.

Noach's Ark

Well as I think back to this year's Noah Ark I see God's hand in the whole entire thing!. We every year get more and more kid's it s so neat to see hoe God draws in so many kids and families from the surrounding areas. I am so thankful that like last year I was able to be apart of this special night on Halloween. I this year got to be dressed up as an '' ladybug'' it was so cute and my costume which by the way came from Wall mart's it was really cheap. I think I paid more last year for my costume which I was an heavenly angle last year and I got my costume from Halloween  Express which I looked at his year but did not see much there this year. I was getting ready to go to Noah;s Ark when my phone ranged and it was my neighbor Cindy called and she told me that she was out getting her a pizza and and asked if I wanted a pizza I said sure but I was going to finish cleaning and then I had to get going so I could get to the church for my shift. I thought I was going to have to go on without my pizza lol but I made it to church going the max um speed limit lol ... I before I left ate a slice of pizza on the way there and I left the pizza in my car.

Well then I got to get there early and done a couple of corn dogs I was so hungry I was trying to eat everything in sight  practically. But this year when my shift started this year I got to work with the Cotton candy yum. well not really I am not that big on Cotton candy. But like Tom said to push the Cotton candy and get rid of it all and yes it took some work but I did we did as a team. We had lots of kiddos dressed up in their costumes and I was getting hot underneath my ''ladybug''  mask costume.  Then I went to the grocery store right after that ... my good pizza buying friend helped me get my groceries since it was a long night. Sunday was even busier I went to church I felt a little sick to my tummy :(.  I was working in the nursery with the kiddos last week,, I left early to go and take my good friend/sponsor to the movies for her birthday!!. She is one of my many blessings..it was so much fun my birthday was last month and hers was this month!. So have two party's within two months of each other. Well my class in Still water went well it was only eight weeks it was so much fun!!. And work is busy.. new management.

Birthday Blessings

 So September the 4th of this month which was last Friday was my birthday!!. I knew that I would go to Celebrate Recovery ya for that :). So my friend Cathy came by my table where I was having dinner.. and was like happy birthday to me and she was like have any body singed happy birthday to me yet and I was like no and so then everybody started singing happy birthday to me!!. I was like it was so OK if nobody sanged happy birthday to me//lol... But it was a blessing even if I was a little bit embarrassed at my table by it. I have been so busy Lord knows with school starting last month in August it has kept me pretty busy with working full time and then going to Still water back and fourth. Its a long night for me because I leave work and go straight to school and them I don't get homeuntil a little after mid-night!!. I am ready for prayer and bible reading and a shower than the bed lol. But praise the Lord its only an eight week course and in two more weeks the class will be done but I am so enjoying my Introduction To Child Life Course. It makes me want more than ever to become a child life specialist. I am thankful that my math class college algebra is totally online praise God because between that and work and bible studies  I am a busy gal.

Well work has been challenging but I see the Lord's hand in any and every saturation since my last blog entry the management has changed out dramatically. I mean corporate has came over and really made some big changes and changes can be really hard. But I turn it over to God every day by using my God box- just to practice surrendering to God!. Its amazing how God works through the power of prayer and what happens when you use your God boxes. Well on Saturday me and my sponsor Lee went to dinner for my birthday @ El tequilas which is a yummy Mexican place!!. The first place we went to was going out of business so we was like no Mexican there sad to say. Well me and BB and Linda is suppose to get together for our birthday lunch soon as we can fit it in our busy schedules.  Well I praise God my grandma called and sanged Happy Birthday to me on my answering machine and it was too funny.. Well it makes me think of all the Blessings God has given me to be thankful for what I have instead of focusing on what I don't have.

The Fourth of July Celerbration !!

Well Happy Belated Fourth of  July to all!!. I hope that you all had a wonderful freedom celebration I know that I did!. I  so enjoyed going to Celebrate Recovery on Friday we got to praise the Lord in worship and hear some amazing things that God is doing in people's lives. Another life changed as I hear in CR I am so thankful for CR and also Al anon helping me in my life to stay sane and to keep the focus on myself. Its a blessing in helping me detach from other people or behavior that I find undesirable which can even include myself even. Well on the fourth of July I like last year and in years past went with Huey and Will to the Jackson home. I text ed  them earlier in the week after talking to Huey about getting together for the fourth of July it's so funny that the last couple of years we have gotten together and have had a blessed of a time. I love Huey and Will dearly but we have to keep Will away from the grill.lol because he tends to overcook the meat.. until its black its so funny. I just eat it and say a prayer over it.

So, last year was the first year that they went to the Jackson's with me and they seemed to have had fun. The Jackson's always have a big crowd from church and other churches. I love how its like an outreach they always have an CR band that leads worship so awesome  And everyone brings a desert I decided this year unlike last year I would just bring an pecan pie ow yum. Funny thing is there was so much desert that I did not even get a piece of the pie that I brought. I am so laughing because last year I baked something in fact two deserts and I thought to myself in the heat of summer I am not baking anything at all. Well I was good I only had one plate, we had smoked brisket and smoked polish sausage and Bologna my favorite. I hate the porter potties outside so as always I use the inside guest bathroom at the Jackson's home. I feel like I am going to get trapped in those porter potties. We got to watch the fireworks from the Jackson's pond which was so beautiful I am so thankful to the Lord that I was spending time with the people that I care about. I am so glad that Jacklyn and spent time together at Burger King with her and her three kiddos. We got to visit and talk which is always fun.
I have been enjoying summer no school and just working with our kiddos at my workplace. Also I up have been enjoying going to early service at church which means I have to get up early. But I was able to work with the children at church on Sunday which was fun we got to play outside.

MAY

Well praise the Lord ya MAY is always  the  month that school gets out!!. I was ready for school to be done with for the semester!. I know that working full time and only taking two classes did not seem like that much but boy was it a load. I had one class in particular called Research Methods class which like my major had a lot of group work to it. I love working in groups and all but when you work with all females at work than I go to school and I have to work with a all girls group it can present a challenge. Well God really is working with me on working with others at first we had a hard time meeting all together. Lol we at one point was submitting thing's separately but in the end we got it together and I am really proud to say we worked things out if that was not God then I do not know than I just do not know. Well I praise the Lord that I made a B in that class as well as my research methods class and I am like ya God!!. There was a test in that math class every week and it was two classes in one!!. So it had a lot of work to it but I feel as if God sent me the right teacher and the right tutor we argue like a old married couple but we are making thanks to the Lord!. we have not killed each other yet.

Right now I am so enjoying the rain we are getting which I am in a way thinking we have had plenty of rain this year but still. Looking at the weather report it looks like we have plenty of sun-shine headed our rain which we so can use. I am enjoying getting plenty of rest and finely I am overjoyed to be driving my car!!. It has been a nerve racking experience but such a journey of faith. I just said that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength Philippians 4;16 I believe. I learned how to drive on one kind of car and the car that was blessed with by John 3; 16 is another. The shift gear is in another spot that's all but I learned its the same thing. I am becoming more at ease and relaxed in driving this car and being thankful that I have a car!!. I also have been battling allergies!. I even went to the doctors to get meds last week and I also went on some medicine to help with my arthritis!!. My knee has had its ups and downs!, But the meds is working!!. Well I keep using my God-boxes to surrender all to Christ and to be all he wants me to be.

Happy Spring!!

Well Praise the Lord for the beautiful weather that we are experiencing here in Tulsa I know that it's officially spring but up to this point it did not feel like it. I have been busy juggling like a ball two class and a full time job boy I am really a busy women and not to mention two recovery programs. I am so thankful to the Lord for that one. I love being in CR and seeing all that God does in the lives of people I hear so many lives changed in this Christ Centered Program.  I also love being apart of alanon and seeing those come and than come to believe just seeing people get into the door. I went recently to the children;s hospital in Oklahoma City @ OU's Children's Hospital. It was a Child Life Event and I am praying and believing God that someday I will be a Certified Child Life Specialist. I learned a lot from my day;s visit there it was so cool me and BB went down there together how bittersweet that and her car's GPS. My car was in the shop:( so I am so glad that was planed way in advanced yay:). We had a day of it we got lost in the hospital temporally but God helped us find out way in the end. Well I got to learn how to start an IV even on a doll to show the children what and how its like. There was a yummy lunch even sort like tacos but chicken instead. I am so glad that they do Child Life 101 there every spring. I also learned that even through I only applied to two practicum sites I should have applied to ten to fifteen so I will know this for the fall when I apply again. I heard back from one place and I did not get that one and I never heard back from the other place. Oh well its still good experience putting in for it and I know God is in control.

Well on the way back from my trip I started feeling sick I thought it was just the car ride. But the next day I threw up and was pottying a lot. I went out that Saturday with my friend Jacklyn and her three kiddos I took a bag just in case lol. I only went to the bathroom once and nothing happened. I look back now and I believe that I had a virus. I was praying for healing the whole time for healing I ordered food @McDonalds  where we went to eat a sala ed with chicken in it. And some yogurt. I took it home and ate it the next day. I ate little and did not get better until that Wednesday. Praise God than lately now I have been dealing with knee pain due to me having arthritis. But school is almost done for the semester. I am just praying my way through my math class. I loved my women;s bible study by Beth More Women of The Day.

Happy Valentines Day!!

Hi all Blessings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I hope and pray that you all have had a wonderful Valentines Day. I call it happy hearts day:) to me its really about being with the one's we love and care about. Today I went to my tweleve step meeting and than I came home and took a good nap  I so need a little R and R. In which afterwards I went to get my hair cut which was a little papering. I have been busy with two classes, math is the most callengeing for me and last week in my research methods class I wrote a paper yay it was five pages long!. Anyhow I am so thankful for the strength God has given me to stay busy and strong.  By that I mean healthy. I know its a short update but its late. So

Black Men United ~ U Will Know

Happy 2015!!

Happy 2015 to all!!. I am still struggling with getting the year right when ever I write the date!.lol :). I still cannot believe that we are in the 15 year of this decade it so seems to unreal to me to be mentioning this. Well it is my first post of the new year I thought to myself that I better do a post life has been on a bit busy side of things for me. Well let's see for Christmas I had a bad/backache and stayed at home with my back hurting and no it was not fun I was saying a lot of prayers along the way at the same time. Looking back I even recall me laying hands on  my back and saying to the Lord that my back was sore and I so needed some relief from it. Well at least I was able to cook some dinner which was not in part that bad it was you yum

 lol I forgot to add to my plate my squash that I made as well as my apple pie yum yum but at least I got away with it. I was so proud of my work that I took a picture of it and sent it to BB she was like wow it looks good. Since we had thanksgiving turkey at her place I am glad for a ham for Christmas lol to mix it up a little bit:). Well it was not bad staying home for thanksgiving by myself after all I has a bad back Ak and it was nice to have a quite dinner all by myself. But for New Year;s Eve I went to church with my friend Frances and listened to Keith Moore preach. Boy the an noting of Christ was on him!. And also then we went to her churches singles ministry and they had popcorn and board games for us to play. But to me it was not lively enough so we left. We went to Grace Church and they had dancing like always and music, and it was so much fun!. We had food and our own DJ so neat. I got out on the dance floor and danced the night away.lol:). We even had the countdown going for 2015!. We all gave each other holy hugs when the New Year came in!. Then Frances and I went to look at Christmas lights when we left Grace- which was fun needless to say I got home pretty late and I fell asleep on the sofa watching what was left of Dick Clark;s New Year's Eve, I awoke and it was four thirty in the mooring. It was time to go to bed lol:). Earlier in the day I meet a women and her husband who have kids and grand kids at Victory Frances church who always ask people if they have a church home and if they don;t they invite them to Victory. What a ministry and testimony!.
