Happy Belated Christams and Happy New Year!!

I hope all of you have a vary safe and Blessed Christmas!!... I did I was only planing on staying home and cleaning up. Well let me back-track on Christmas eve I of course went to church and that evening I went to babysit little Kezia which was a real treat and they had a candle-light service there as well. Well going back to Christmas day my friend Chris had invited me to a friend of his from church at As berry he hosts a Christmas party every year. It was a zig zag to find but thankfully it was close to my place and with my GPS we found it. It was fun I should however stuck to the main-course because I saw a what I thought looked like strawberry desserts ''turns ''out they they actually was spiked with vodka I guess they were Vodka shots. It was a real surprise for me and then I am like okay so next there was the cherry pound cake which I passed on because I do not like cherries. Well the donut holes on top looked really good. Well no wonder since they had sugar on top of them well they really was filled with rum...the alcohol beverage. Well I could not get to the trash can fast enough to spit them out ha ha. Well I stuck to the cookies after that experience and chocolate sticks which I showed Chris before I attempted to leave and before saying goodbye to everyone. Well I was not paying any attention to where I was going and by the grace of God I caught by fall with my hand. I just missed my step.. I was okay thankfully but my hand had a nice bruise on it for a while.

Well now it's New Years Eve and I went to church this mooring and later to another church for a New Year's Eve party. I went last year it was good food,fellowship, and we danced into the New Year!!. Well Welcome to 2018 America !!.

Happy Thanksgiving !!!

Well Happy Turkey  Day!!!... I hope you all have something to be thankful for well for me it's my relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. And then my Condo that I live in and my one or two close neighbors in my community,my church family,my friends, my alanon program and my sponsor in that program. As well as my Celebrate Recovery program and my sponsor in that program and  having a car and my car working!!. My health as well just being in good health as I know it and a really good job that is coming my way soon God's got a plan. Just even for God providing food on my table and clothes on my back. Today being grateful I can send out Happy Thanksgiving texts to friends and family and I am going over some friends for thanksgiving I don't even have to cook how cool is that. And later on tonight I am going to go to my Celebrate Recovery and have a thanksgiving there.

Happy Hollween !!

Well I am dressed up this year as the cat in the hat yay!!... I brought it a couple of years back when I worked at my former job. When I was working with kids and one of my co-workers  was  curious  George and my supervisor was the mouse that went the clock it was so cute. And tonight I am going to go and help out with Noah's ark which is shaped like a ark like what was discribed in the bible.  I am helping out with the food like every year yum yum. And at least I won;t have to cook and I will most likely after clean-up bring some food home with me. Well got to go  have a safe and wonderful Halloween everyone trick or treat.

Today is my Birthday!!

Praise God today is my birthday and I thank the Lord I live to see yet another birthday. I had made plans on Saturday to get together with BB and Linda and we could not come up with a timing that worked so we said maybe next year. I was so disappointed every year we get together and normally we celebrate our birthdays. So I prayed and put in my God box and Whop ! we got together doing BB's break from work.  It's by the power of prayer of prayer and God working it out it worked!. We had bread fix this mooning at the Village Inn and exchanged gifts Linda got my a hand towel and a picture frame that says'' it is well with my soul'' beautiful. I got her a picture frame also and a picture of me in my cap and gown. And I got BB some bath stuff and a sponge. And she gave me a quick trip card and some cookies so sweet and more scents I was starting to run low.. ha-ha .

Then I got together with my brother and his family to go and have pizza and dessert with ooo it was so good and yummy. I found out that they will most likely be moving which I so hate to hear but he should go where the job is at and  I will miss them but at least we had today. Well that's it for now.

Happy Fourth of July!!

I wanted to take time to wish everyone a happy fourth of July!!!. I got to spend time with Huey and Will again this year. It was so much fun looking at the fireworks with them and it's become an annual tradition for me to get together with them and I had my own cookout at home and threw some meat on the grill it was so yummy along with a salad. And I got to to talk and believe in prayer with my friend Toni... we are kind of like prayer partners. And I slept in today until 10:00 am what a priceless gift that was!. What a gift from God that like independence day we can be free today to make choices I am so thankful to God for freedom!.

My Ladies Sunday School Social....

Well after of about a month of planning for my ladies Sunday school social the time finely came yesterday!. I started the morning by going to my Al anon meeting which really helped get my day off to a great kick-start!. Well I am thankful I can always go back to step 1 and admit my powerlessness of people, places, and things like God's timing in my life for stuff mainly my job search being a factor. I was so reminded by blessing of having friends in my life that it would come all in God's timing. So many people who work for the state have lost jobs...so so sad I am praying for them as I would ask in Jesus name for others to please do as well :). We had a wonderful turnout at the social about eigthteen people there I believe yummy food we always have so much food left over it;s amazing. I had problems of course getting the projector to work I am so thankful for the maintenance help at church they rock the boat!. I am glad we had some time of fellowship and we got to watch the never version of the movie left behind!. Well Nicholas Cage happens to be one of my favorite actors ever since he played in raising arozia lol. It was good to catch up with people and see what people have been up to.

My Graduration Day!!

Yesterday was my graduation day!!!. It had been a long time coming with having my associates degree for years and working with children which had been a really rewarding experience. But now like my job couch says it's time to get serious ..lol. Well I walked across the stage yesterday and got my bachelors degree in Human Science Family Development. It felt so good!! and to have my friends there and there was even one women who was eighty years old. I volunteered at the Little Lighthouse and then went to work and then to grab dinner which ate in my car. My assistant boss drew me a map of how to get to our graduation site which helped. But I was lost at first but then I was found..lol. Well I had a couple of friends who could not make it but some did they even sent me a picture of me walking across the stage. A friend of mines said I looked like a size of an ant I am like at least I am not an ant. Well I forgot my name tag I had to be reminded to go back to my seat and get it. And afterwards I went out to Brums with my friend Regina for ice cream... so much fun and I have two graduation party's planned!. Now job hunting and it;s been a long semester with working and a internship twelve hour days.

Happy Valentines Day!!

Well Happy Valentines Day to everyone!!!. It's a day to spend it with the ones who you love and care about. Today I feel blessed to have spent it doing my internship at the Little Lighthouse which is where I am volunteering for my school internship. The kiddos had their valentines party there and it was so neat they even had stations for them to be at some of the girls got their names done. And there was a bubble machine that blew out bubbles..how fun and their was a pizza party even yummy.. I had two slices before I left for work ha ha. Then before I left the class I was in made me a beautiful Valentines Day card it was so cute. Then I got presented with a beautiful Valentine's Basket with sparking grape juice and two wine glasses and a book that said I was amazing and which had love poems in it. And a red plush bear and a heart shaped box of chocolates and last but not least an picture frame. Today at my job at the Boys and Girls Club we had a Valentines Party we all chipped in and brought stuff along with the kids. I brought mini-brownie bits yummy. Well I got Lot's of texts messages as well. I felt so loved and especially but the Lord.

Happy Belated Christmas/New Year!

 Well this is coming rather late but better late than never right I pray and trust all had a safe and wonderful New Year.  I went to Church on Christmas it was such an blessings. I also went to babysat little Kezia which was a ton of fun which was a real blessing.  And BB gave me a beautiful prayer box and some cash who couldn't use that right amen. And also I won slippers from the dirty Santa game at my church. Well  on New Year's Eve I went to an alanon meeting and then to a New Year's Eve party at church and saw a couple of friends. Just one more semester of school and graduation is coming in May!.
